The following is a guide to help the customer understand a few basic
procedures that will aid in the preparation of images to be
included in a DVD Slideshow.
(Timeline = A specific or preferred order in which the images will be presented
in
the final video production. The "sequence of events," as it is more commonly
known.)
---Timeline considerations;
All images must be chronologically noted/indicated for production.
If no timeline is desired, random order is suitable and accepted, and will
be preferred.
After discussion of chronological/timeline preferences is completed, and a specific
timeline sequence is accepted, the client will be responsible for preparing
the photos for this consideration. After this discussion, the client will be
assessed an hourly fee for any hands on help that may be provided by
Centennial Restorations with setting up a timeline for the final DVD/Video. If
there is no help needed, production will move forward. Please
take care of the timeline indications before the images are submitted to the
project in order to expedite production and avoid needless costs. I can give
you plenty of advice over the phone or by E-Mail to help make this procedure simple and quick.
---Notes of indication for timeline considerations;
Sticky Notes are accepted and preferred. Be short and simple with
definitions. Details per image will be discussed when the images are
inspected. DO NOT attach the Sticky Notes to the images BEFORE writing on
the Sticky Note. This will damage the image because of the pressure from the
pen or pencil when writing on the Sticky Note. Attach the Sticky Notes to
the backs of the images AFTER writing on them.
If needed, keep a tablet with corresponding numbers to the images and record
any information on this tablet.
These guidelines can help move the client project forward at a quick pace, and
help the client avoid needless charges. This is especially helpful if there
is a large group of photos, and/or an impending date of production and you may be running short on time.
